As I was assembling my NYC apartment and hunting for pieces, I started a list and collected all the spots where I was finding my furniture & home goods! Some of these stores are a bit more mainstream and some are little boutiques here in NYC! After posting my home tour earlier this week, I wanted to follow up with this little cheat sheet for any of y’all who are also furnishing your homes or apartments!
NYC Home Goods:
- November 19 (LES) – November 19 is a destination for beautifully crafted home and lifestyle goods.
- Clic – Probably my favorite store in NYC. Clic features contemporary photography and art, books, home decor, and fashion curated by Calypso founder Christiane Celle. It’s such a beautiful store and just makes me so happy.
- MOMA Design Store (Soho) – Classic modern and cutting-edge design products for adults and kids, including items produced exclusively for the Museum of Modern Art.
- abc carpet & home (Flatiron) – Home-decor shop where unique, often extravagant wares are displayed on 4 cavernous floors.
- Roman & Williams Guild (Soho) – Upscale resource for furniture, decorative accessories, lighting, tableware & textiles, plus a cafe.
- The Citizenry (Soho) – Thoughtfully designed & ethically crafted. Ethical craftsmanship meets elevated design. All made with fair trade standards. Fair Trade.
- Coming Soon (Lower East Side) – High-end, colorful gallery showcasing designer home accessories, vintage furniture & creative gifts.
- Jung Lee (Nomad) – High-end concept store with one-of-a-kind items from around the world for decorating & entertaining.
- Tom Dixon (Soho) – Tom is a restless innovator who works mainly in lighting, accessories, and furniture.
- Hudson Grace (West Village) – Hudson Grace is the preeminent purveyor of timeless decor for those who love to entertain.
- Adaptations NYC (Greenpoint)
- Aero the Store (Kips Bay) – Adaptations is a lifestyle boutique celebrating the beauty in design of both vintage and modern pieces
- Cursive Home (West Village) – This store is filled with hand-selected items such as fine stationery, candles, jewelry, vases, home goods, greeting cards, picture frames, glassware, and other one-of-a-kind pieces that make distinctly memorable gifts.
- Côte à Coast (Lower East Side) – Clean, minimal, earthy. This french-inspired menswear brand has a great selection of curated home goods as well!
- BEAM – (Williamsburg) – Modern store featuring a quirky, design-forward selection of home goods, furnishings & accessories.
Brooklyn Antiques:
- The Horseman Antiques -Spacious multilevel store specializing in antique midcentury, Danish modern & industrial furniture.
- Dobbin Street Vintage Co-op – Brooklyn-based lifestyle brand for the modern bohemian. Vintage price at a Brookly-friendly price!
- Dream Fishing Tackle – Fishing store turned well-curated vintage furniture finds!
- Otto’s Vintage (Greenpoint) – Vintage shop with furniture, clothing & more!
- Mother of Junk – A great place to buy & sell vintage finds!

- Social Studies – This start-up is a party tablescape rental, that you can purchase from as well. They happen to be my favorite plates! Social Studies delivers everything to your door, from coordinated tableware to fresh flowers and printed place cards.

Plants (NYC):
- The Sill (Lower East Side) – Modern store with a range of indoor tropical plants, planters & accessories for beginners & experts.
- The Flower District (Nomad) – Along West 28th Street between 6th & 7th Avenues there are about 15 plant and flower shops to choose from. I find this is the best Holiday Flower & Plant!
- Jungle NYC (Williamsburg) – Get fully grown potted plants from the Jungle NYC store delivered to your door!
- Rosecrans (West Village) – coffee shop with a great selection of plants & pots!
- Dahing Plants (Chinatown)
Linens:
- Parachute Home – Modern bedding and bath essentials for a more comfortable home. I have their linen bedsheets and love them!
- Matteo – This LA-based store is an airy, industrial-chic store that sells upscale linen bedding, home textiles & clothing. I love them, but do have to preface that their customer service is unfortunately not great.
- West Elm – Their linen bed sheets and bath towels are fantastic!
Outdoor Furniture:
