It wasn’t until I moved to Chicago & New York that I realized how the harsh elements of the winters can take a real toll on your body. During the winter months, I put so much emphasis and focus on my skin, trying to keep it hydrated and protected. Honestly, I wasn’t putting any energy into my hair, and now knowing how easy it is, I wish I would have started investing sooner!
While it might not look like it, my hair is actually pretty dry. I only wash it about twice a week, as I don’t want to strip the hair of its natural oils. As my hair is on the dryer-end year-round, I can definitely tell a difference around November when my hair will become increasingly drier, quicker. On my wash days, I’ve been using the Pantene Nutrient Blends Pure Clean & Clarify Collection – a shampoo + conditioner combo that has everything I need in a hair wash. The combo is fantastic because it replenishes moisture to the hair when I need it the most!
The Pantene Pure Clean & Clarify Collection has lightweight and soothing formulas that cleanse & clarify the strands while replenishing my hair with so much moisture. It’ll help keep your hair feeling clean as well! The Pure Clean & Clarify Shampoo removes excess oil and styling buildup, which is usually why I need to wash my hair! I style my hair at least once a day with the product (sometimes twice a day depending on my plans and where I’m going!) so that buildup is very real. If you have a sensitive scalp, this is a great shampoo to scrub with as it’s fragrance-free and has considerably fewer chemicals! This was actually the first fragrance-free shampoo that I’ve used, and I didn’t know I needed it! I now prefer it so much more than smelling like an Irish spring or hibiscus flower. The Pure Clean & Clarify Conditioner really comes in with the nourishment and moisture once the shampoo has removed all that product and unwanted oils from the hair. It feels instantly silky-smooth once I rinse it and so hydrated.
The ingredients list for the Pantene Nutrient Blends Collection is also another thing I love about adding the shampoo & conditioner into my routine. It’s about 1/4 as long as a typical shampoo + conditioner and leaves out a lot of things. In the best way. Besides being fragrance-free, it’s also silicone-free, which is a must for me when it comes to hair care. It’s free of parabens, dyes, and mineral oil as well. As far as shampoos & conditioners go, it’s such a clean product!
What are you looking for most in a shampoo + conditioner? And how do you think the seasons change up your hair care routine? If you’re like me, the Pantene Pure Clean & Clarify Collection is such a great way to keep your hair hydrated throughout the winter months — and year-round, too!
Stay Risky,
