This summer I’m trying to KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) when it comes to my wardrobe. I love to layer in the fall but have found that these hot summer months don’t really require all too much. By shedding layers and some styles too, I’ve been building a closet that is a bit more utilitarian and filled with simple pieces – right in time for summer. I’m about to make a little transition, y’all! I haven’t shared too much about it yet. but I’m going to be making some moves pretty soon. Because of this, I’ve been combing through my closet and trying to simplify things. This preppy and put-together look is from Dockers and an easy & casual look that will be able to live as a hundred different outfit options. The top is the Pique Polo – a refined classic. This shirt has some modern details that update the polo-like the contrast details at the collar and hem. I chose to give it a clean feel and buttoned the top button. The pants are Dockers’ Signature Stretch Khakis and feature a slim tapered fit, which I love. the cut sits below the waist and has a skinny fit in through the seat and thigh. I can’t stand when khakis are too baggy. They’ve been washed down for a super-soft feel and all-day comfort. A look like this is
