I get asked about my hair on a weekly – if not daily – basis. So it was only a matter of time that this post was coming. I’ve been a fan of Baxter of California‘s hair products for a few years now .. and with the release of their new Paste Pomade that just launched, I figured this would be a great time to talk hair with yall! I’ve been through quite a few brands of gels, pomades, and sprays – but keep coming back to Baxter of California’s products.
Baxter of California’s range of pomades is all dynamic for varying reasons. I’ve been using them in my hair at different lengths or as I’ve needed to achieve different looks. I’m a big fan of the new Pomade Paste for a couple of reasons. My hair is pretty dang-thick, and I need a product that has a hard hold. Unfortunately, most products with stronger holds have high-shine effects but I prefer a more natural, matte finish. The Paste Pomade has both a hard hold with a semi-matte finish. It also allows for flexibility and will let me rework my hair throughout the day. This pomade is great for me as I’m generally out and about all day and around 3 or 4 my hair will typically start to lose its form and hold.
