The collared dress shirt can come across as stuffy and I know many guys will wear the shirt only out of necessity if they’re wearing a coat & tie. From formal fits to keeping it casual, the dress shirt is a flexible garment in every man’s wardrobe. There is such a range of possibilities you can construct from your closet with the dress shirt! I’ve styled two dress shirts from REISS and wanted to have fun with the simplicity and prints of the shirts. First up is the Kase dress shirt is a striped long sleeve. I’m usually not one for vertical stripes, but this shirt might have won me over. With its contrasting neutral stripes, the shirt is bold but simple and so so soft. It’s 100% Viscose, meaning it’s soft to the touch and super lightweight.
I love a band collar because I feel like it instantly bridges The Alfie shirt is an easy and fun printed dress shirt with a band collar. The fun and subtle design feature red micro flowers that you really have to get close to notice the details. Like the Kase shirt, it too is made of lightweight Viscose fabrication which lends itself to give the shirt some flow and movement.
With both of these outfits, I’m wearing the Westbury pant. It’s a slim-fit cotton trouser whose style is classic and versatile. You could wear this pant with a coat and tie or throw on with a tee shirt and sneakers and still be great. They’re made with 3% Elastane, so they allow for a bit of movement – which is always great!
