For a limited time, Nordstrom has teamed up with online retailer Everlane to host an in-store pop-up. I’ve been a fan of Everlane since they made waves with their radical retail transparency in 2010. I own a few pieces from them, but as I’m not the biggest online shopper, it was great to pop into Nordstrom to get a feel and try on their collection at the Nordstrom x Everlane Pop-up! I visited the Nordstrom at The Grove while in Los Angeles, and was inspired by west coast casual to put together this look. It’s a classic and simple look, just like Everlane’s aesthetic. Their khaki Travel Pant is a great chino that’s light and has a good amount of stretch to them. I cuffed the pant, but the tapered hem is great when left un-cuffed as well. I layered a simple grey tee under their Slim Fit Chambray Shirt. Some simple white Stan Smiths and my favorite pair of sunglasses (from IZIPIZ) to complete this look.

This second look I pulled from my Nordstrom in Chicago, on Michigan Ave., and it features two of my favorite pieces I’ve come across this fall. I was trying to channel schoolboy prep. and loved this layered look. It’s also a great mix of classic preppy and trendy athleisure. Probably the best pair of joggers I’ve come across is soft with a good stretch and has such a flattering cut. They’re an elevated take on a trendy and casual staple. On top, I layered their Chambray with a Cashmere V-Neck Sweater and topped it off with the slickest of rain jackets. The waterproof Elements Jacket came in black, blue, and green as well.. but this khaki color really jumped out and made it a unique piece — and a fall favorite!
