This past week was my first New York Fashion Week: Men’s to attend. It was a whirlwind of a week full of meetings, presentations, and afterparties.. but it was also a sticky one. Even being from Texas I couldn’t deal with the week’s humidity! I wanted to round-up three outfits I sported to NYFW, all from American designer Tommy Hilfiger’s summer collection. This short-sleeve New York Shirt is one of my favorite from Tommy’s summer collection. It looks all blue, but it’s actually blue and forest green s. It’s got a slim and modern fit, and I gave it a little cuff on the sleeve. The shirt is breathable and great for hot & humid days, like this one. I got quite a few compliments and comments on this piece, I paired it with some white torn skinny jeans and love how the stripes really pop with the white bottoms. The blue sneakers are a great cheap and comfortable option from Tretorn.

Sweaters in July?! Crazy, I know. Especially on such a warm week. But this Ribbed Cotton Sweater was too good to pass up… and the knit sweater is much lighter and breathable than it actually looks. The sweater is a pretty simple and sleek garment, featuring a crew neck and wide waistband along with the trim. I had a little fun with a bold print on Blue Hawaii Club Short, to contrast the clean look of the sweater.Shop this look:
I’m really enjoying mandarin – or band – collars right now, and have found myself grabbing for them more recently the past few months. This Medieval Blue Short Sleeve is also a linen shirt, so it’s an automatic summer staple in my book. At Tommy, I found another simple staple that I had been needing – a tapered khaki short. Their Stretch Cotton Shorts are so perfect.. even with the taper they’re not too tight and have great flexibility. The timepiece is The Mod Watch, a Todd Snyder x Timex collaboration. It’s my favorite watch to use while over in Europe since it works really well with military time. I don’t typically wear too much red, but love how this watch matched with the little pops of red on my sneakers and the Tommy Hilfiger logo!Shop this look:
