If you’re anywhere around my age, we’re probably in the same boat in regards to friends getting married ~ they’re all doing it! With all the fun festivities and celebrations around this comes quite a bit of traveling, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and of course.. showering the new couple with gifts. To help to-be newlyweds get inspired, west elm has just launched an extensive one-stop shop for all things wedding registry. With their new registry website, west elm has made wedding registry so simple to create, find or manage a wedding registry. So easy, in fact, that I decided to create a mock-registry…just for fun, I swear! As I was perusing the new site, I couldn’t help but make some picks myself.. oops! All I had to do was set up an account on the west elm registry app and then browse the store, scanning in barcodes for items that I liked. And boom. Just like that, I built-out my very own wedding registry. Check out some of my favorites below!

In terms of design and furniture, you and your loved one are going to be starting with a blank slate in terms of your living situation. You’ll be getting new kitchen and house items. west elm actually offers Design Services with a Style + Service consultation to help with your registry. You’ll start with a free in-store consultation and discuss everything from styling each room in your house or apartment to the type of dinnerware you want. And feeling perky? If you’re a bride + groom-to-be, west elm has a whole laundry list of Partner Perks, with some pretty amazing added benefits. They’ve divided the perks into sections: Pre-Wedding Prep, The Big Day, Honeymoon + Beyond. Pre-Wedding consists of deals off invitations from Minted or Mark and Graham and one of my favorites.. one free week of unlimited classes at pure barre. For your big wedding day, west elm has joined forces with the Banana Republic for 15% off of suits for the gents, and drybar for the ladies. You can then travel in style to your honeymoon with a his + hers /his + his/ hers +hers monogrammed Away bags (the best!) and snag a deal on JetBlue vacation package as well! west elm also has a whole focus of Gifts That Do Good, handcrafted and fair trade items that benefit artists and artisan communities around the world. Another great perk from west elm is their Completion Discount. So here’s the deal. After you’ve built out your wedding registry, you get the option to have 15% off of all the items on your registry that weren’t gifted.. and anything else you might want that you didn’t add to the list! You also have the option of Gift Cards, if guests can’t decide exactly what to pick.. they can give in the form of giftable cards to use at west elm, Williams-Sonoma, or Pottery Barn. My theory is you can never go wrong by giving a gift card, letting your friend or family member pick out exactly what they want! So whether you’re looking to create and manage a registry for your big day, or you’re like me and simply want to give your friend or family a quality gift and be the #bestguest, west elm has got you covered! Let me know if you end up setting up your registry with west elm or have any questions about my experience setting up the registry. I’m interested to hear your thoughts!
Stay Risky,
– John
