Wow, y’all. It’s been a month in NYC already and I feel like I’ve just only blinked. The apartment is coming together (exciting news on that soon!) and I’m starting to feel settled. This week I’m focusing on suits and came to the realization that I need to be sporting more suits, just because.
Bonobos has a new power suit on the block – and with some technical upgrades and superior quality at bonobos price, you’ll understand why it’s called their Italian Performance Suit
Bonobos worked with their Italian Suiting mill to develop a fabric that still feels like a classic Italian suit but has been supercharged with some pretty rad features. It’s called their super lux Marzotto Italian wool and it’s resistant to liquids, wrinkles and had the perfect amount of stretch. The fabric has a 3% stretch so it gives a little for easy movement and a better fit. The fabric is also wrinkle-resistant so the suit recovers its shape instantly.
As always with Bonobos, there are quite a few fits and options with garments. The suiting jacket comes in 3 different fits: Slim, Standard, and Athletic and the suiting pants come in 4: Slim, Standard, Athletic and Tailored. I’m 6’ and am wearing the Athletic fit jacket & pants of their Navy Plaid Italian Performance Suit. The suit fit me great from the bat, and I didn’t have to make any adjustments or alterations with a tailor.
