This little window in time is what I like to call the Holiday Pocket. Yes, it’s the most wonderful time of the year…but it’s also one of the busiest! With holiday parties, Christmas shopping for loved ones, and seasonal adventures, my to-do list usually starts running as long as St. Nick’s “naughty list.” But I wouldn’t have it any other way! The warmth and spirit of the holidays is my favorite, and dressing up for all occasions becomes especially fun!
This is a great winter outfit – not strictly holiday, which means that these pieces’ longevity will last longer than the month-long window of the “Holiday Pocket.” Individually these garments might not scream “Christmas,” but when styled together you’ll get a sophisticated holiday look that is perfect for any holiday party – and this outfit is head to toe Old Navy!
The star of this outfit is the soft-brushed camel Topcoat. It’s the kind of trench that you’ll wear to a party and opt to wear inside because it just looks so dang good. The color is a rich camel that will be sure to stand out from the city’s sea of black jackets. It features a notch lapel and spread collar that I always rock.. popped! The warm lining is soft-brushed and feels so great on your skin. I like to size up on a jacket like this if I know I’m going to be wearing it with a couple of layers for a roomier fit. The coat is slightly fitted through the body and hits at the thigh.
As a base layer, I’m wearing a white Slim-Fit Flex Everday Shirt. A white button-down like this one is a staple in every guys’ closet and should be in yours! You can wear it casually, or with to your dressiest occasions suit & tie. In this case, I threw it under a classic crewneck sweater, and for an added layer of warmth and an elevated look, you can top it with a festive scarf for a pop of color! The dark wash jeans are Built-in-Flex Jeans that feature a slim cut and perfect winter wash!
Stay Risky,
